Local SEO Services for New Jersey Businesses

Local SEO services help customers near you find your business on Google Maps, in local search results, and in AI answers, and then choose you over the listing next to yours. Adatek Agency is a local SEO agency in Hackensack serving Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, and Essex counties. We do the work ourselves and show it to you item by item every month.

What our local SEO services include

Google Business Profile setup and management

Your profile is usually the fastest lever. We correct the primary category, name, hours, service area, and services, then keep it active with weekly posts and replies. Ongoing profile work is covered on our Google Business Profile management page.

Review generation and replies

We set up a simple request step inside your existing customer flow and write a specific reply to every review. We never gate, buy, or script reviews.

Citation building and cleanup

We find duplicate, outdated, or "closed" listings, fix them, and place your business on the data aggregators, directories, and industry sites that Google and AI assistants read. You get a list of every URL. Here's the citation building method we follow.

Service and location pages

One complete page per core service, written around how your customers actually search. We add location content only where we have something real to say, such as projects, landmarks, or local rules, and never by swapping town names into a template.

Local links and mentions

We earn links from partners, suppliers, associations, sponsorships, and reporters. A local news quote helps twice: it's a link for Google and a source AI assistants can cite. These are the link building tactics we use.

AI visibility

Every month we ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode the questions your buyers ask, record who gets named, and target the sources those answers rely on. More on our AI search optimization page.

How a local SEO engagement runs

Audit and baseline

We record your current Map Pack positions, calls, direction requests, reviews, listings, and AI answers, so every later report has a fixed starting point.

Foundation

Profile fixes, review rhythm, citation cleanup, and the most important service pages. Your website stays as it is unless something on it blocks results.

Expand

Once your core service holds close to your location, we extend into the next ring of towns with real content and local proof. That's the approach behind our hyperlocal SEO guide.

What you'll see every month

Here's what a local SEO report should contain, in detail.

  • Calls, direction requests, website clicks, and form fills, compared with the same month last year
  • Map visibility sampled from several points across your service area
  • New reviews, average rating, and reply rate
  • Every citation, page, and link added, each with a URL
  • AI answer checks: whether you were named, and which sources were cited

Local SEO pricing

Local SEO is included in every Adatek Agency plan: Starter $1,097/mo, Growth $1,697/mo, and Professional $2,497/mo. All plans are month-to-month, with a one-time Foundation Setup of $500 or $1,500 depending on how much cleanup your listings need. See the full pricing breakdown.

Who we work with

Local businesses that win or lose on nearby searches, including home services and contractors, dentists, med spas, roofers, law firms, and restaurants. Storefronts and service-area businesses with no public address both qualify, and we set each one up according to Google's rules for its type.

What we won't do

  • Buy links, join link networks, or publish batches of auto-generated pages. Google's spam policies prohibit all three.
  • Stuff keywords into your business name.
  • Take ownership of your Google Business Profile. You stay the owner and we're added as a manager.
  • Promise a #1 ranking. Google states that no one can pay for a better local rank.

Local SEO questions

Do I need a website for local SEO?

A Business Profile can rank on its own, but a website gives Google and AI assistants a source of truth for your services, areas, and hours. Without one, you'll usually lose to a competitor who has one. If your current site is holding you back, website builds are available as an add-on.

Can you do local SEO for a business without a storefront?

Yes. Service-area businesses, like most contractors, cleaners, and mobile services, must hide their address on Google and list the areas they serve instead. We set that up correctly and build visibility in the towns where your jobs cluster. See local SEO for contractors.

How many citations will you build?

As many as your industry and market justify, and no more. Forty accurate, relevant listings outperform hundreds of directory submissions. You get a URL for every listing we create or correct.

Do you work with businesses that have more than one location?

Yes. Each location gets its own profile, its own page with real local details, and its own reporting. Multi-location work is quoted per location after the free audit.
